This is a HOLIDAY THEMED resource. Questions are holiday themed (Ex. Saving for presents, wants being new decorations or toys, expenses being holiday shopping etc.) The questions are mildly Holiday themed and this resource would work great all winter long!

• 1 worksheet where they identify needs and wants from given budgets.

• 1 poster teaching income and expenses.
• 4 worksheets where students check off if the item/ picture is an income or an expense.

• 1 worksheet where students list forms of income and expenses.
• 1 worksheet where students identify the scenario as an income or expense.
• 4 worksheets where students are given transactions and are asked to identify the transaction as an income or an expense and track the account balance by either adding or subtracting the transactions.
• 2 worksheets where students are given monthly budgets for a person and are asked to apply the knowledge learned to answer a variety of questions. (Which expense cost the most this month?, How many forms of income does this person have? Etc.)
• 2 worksheets where students use real-world examples of monthly budgets and saving goals to practice identifying and calculating the amount of money needed for a desired expense (ex. video game or trip) and calculating how much money will need to be saved each month in order to attain the desired expense.Ê

This resource helps students to learn about needs and wants & income and expenses and identify the difference between them. Students then apply their learned knowledge to a variety of questions, activities & real-world monthly budgeting scenarios.
