Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats

Materials:
Ingredients:
- ½ stick of unsalted butter
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 bag (10 oz.) mini marshmallows (or 2 heaping cups of marshmallows)
- 4 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
- 4 - 6 drops green food coloring (optional)
Directions:

Grease a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.

Melt butter on low heat in a large pot.

Once the butter has melted, stir in the salt, mini marshmallows, & vanilla.

Once the marshmallows have melted, stir in 4 - 6 drops of green food coloring or as many drops as desired for the preferred shade of green. (optional)

Remove the melted marshmallow mixture from heat and gently mix in the Lucky Charms. (Stir gently to avoid crushing the cereal.)

Once the cereal is evenly coated in the marshmallow mixture, pour it into your prepared pan and gently press it even. (Avoid pressing too hard!)

Let the treats cool before cutting into squares.
